Producing powerful images & provoking alternative imaginaries
I am a researcher, activist and artist working across civil society, academia and cultural industries on issues of gender, feminism, decoloniality and visual production. I use co-creative, participatory and experiential methods in my work to explore the intersections of gender justice, feminist visualities and embodied decolonial possibilities.
Through photography and video I work with artists, organisations and companies to develop impactful images to strengthen their visual identities. With individuals, I capture those important moments of celebration in life full of joy and love.
I co-create and explore experimental ways to produce visual narratives and representations that express diverse experiences, stories and ideas.
Process matters to me.
I give a lot of importance to ways of working and always seek to forward a feminist ethics of care in my practice whilst also producing stunning and impactful images.
Feminist Visions is an ongoing project and digital platform I created dedicated to amplifying the work of feminists and feminist movements from across the world through text, photography, video and other creative offerings.
It focuses on the potencia of feminist visual, performative and creative actions to explore the power of imaginaries in shaping new realities.
It seeks to transform feminist dreams, desires and visions into possibilities through collaborative and co-creative activities.
